At ClearEast Trip, we believe in planning journeys with care, transparency, and respect. We understand that plans can change, and this policy is designed to give you clarity on how cancellations and refunds are handled.

  1. Simple Timeline for Refunds

     

  • If your booking qualifies for a refund, we’ll process it within 60 working days from the date of cancellation or confirmation from our partners (such as hotels, transport providers, or local hosts).
  • If a cancellation happens during your journey, the timeline begins after the trip is scheduled to end or once our partners confirm the changes — whichever comes later.

We believe this balance protects both our travelers and the local partners who make your journey possible.

  1. Supplier & Non-Refundable Costs


Some costs (like confirmed hotel bookings, activity passes, permits, or transport fees) may be non-refundable as per supplier rules. In such cases, these will be deducted from any refund or voucher amount.

If unexpected events occur (bad weather, strikes, or government restrictions), we’ll do our best to offer alternatives. However, supplier-charged costs may not always be refundable.

  1. ClearEast Travel Vouchers


Instead of a partial refund, you can choose a voucher of equal value (minus applicable charges).

  • Valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
  • Can be used for any future trip with us.
  • Gives you flexibility to travel when the timing feels right.

  1. How Refunds Are Processed

     

  • Refunds are issued through the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
  • Please allow up to 60 working days for completion.

  1. In Case of Medical Emergencies

     

We know health is unpredictable. If you are unable to start your journey due to a medical emergency:

  • A 25% refund will be provided, after verifying medical documentation.
  • You may also opt for a voucher, which may offer better value.
